Women in Analytics
Since 2019, Video Story Studio has helped Women In Analytics produce their annual DataConnect conference that brings together industry leaders, technical experts, entrepreneurs, and academia while providing a platform for women to lead the conversations around the advancements of analytical research, development, and applications. Along the way we’ve provided video marketing services and assisted WIA in reaching members on the west coast by pre-producing the event flow and coordinating with a local AV crew in Portland Oregon for their first DataConnect West Conference.
Project Scope
VSS is an Independent Show Production team, a link between clients and their vision and the AV provider. With a multi-day, multi-stage, multi-audience conference, we match event experience expectations with technical equipment and organize all the cues for each show. We’re not quite event planners or technical directors, we’re helping the two worlds communicate.
For the 2024 Women in Analytics DataConnect Conference, Video Story Studio was behind the scenes calling the mainstage show cues and problem solving on the fly. We had two video crews capturing footage and interviews onsite to produce a recap video to be played after the event to promote ticket sales and sponsorships. Postevent, we edited 47 speaker presentations, produced marketing videos with alternate CTAs for separate audiences.
